Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
At Tyalla Public School, I am honoured to lead a community where every student's uniqueness is honoured, their strengths valued, and their wellbeing prioritised. With a strong foundation in emotional intelligence, empathy and resilience, my leadership is grounded in genuine connection and high expectations: for learning, wellbeing and personal growth.
We are a school that embraces diversity and inclusion. Our staff work collaboratively to create a safe, supportive and engaging environment where students feel a strong sense of belonging. Through responsive and purposeful teaching, every child is given the opportunity to grow into a self-directed, respectful and responsible learner.
Tyalla place of tall trees reflects both our beautiful environment and the strength of our community, our school celebrates culture, identity and mutual respect.
I am deeply committed to building trusting partnerships with families and the wider community. Together, we are focused on improving student outcomes in literacy, numeracy, attendance and wellbeing through clear, consistent and inclusive practices.
Leading Tyalla is a privilege, and I look forward to continuing our journey of growth and excellence side by side with our incredible students, staff and families .
